Thanks to Zflyer48 for the work on this beauty, the fictional Polish Hawk monoplane.

When war loomed over Europe in the late 30's Polish spies working in the US got the plans of the Hawk III, deciding they can improve it, they erased the whole lower wing and added the now famous Polish wing to improve visibility. The plane did well during the German invasion of 1939 faring better than the fixed gear P.11, but the planes were too few to make a real difference.
