VP Modpack, multiplayer compatible?

Hey,

A friend and I are new to the game and we wanted to install VP to run a co-op DCG campaign.

Our problem is that the game freezes every time one of us clicks on the button to host a lobby in campaign mode.

Is this a known problem?
