After Dandolo released the Wip of this aircraft, I noticed that the Hungarian triangles were not aligned so I wanted to go back to the skins and fix the problem as much as possible since it is still in beta. Enjoy and thanks to all the guys involved 😁😉

Bright is a photoshop plug-in, right?
I have also seen that Bright is mentioned as a standalone software, is it possible to use it without photoshop?
I haven’t been able to find any good info when searching.

Bright is also a standalone texture converter that you can download at M4T

it is very simple to use and the main advantage is that you can convert with one click on the batch file 30-40 skins at a time.

Editing the batch file to tweak it to your needs is very easy and you can also use your favorite color palette. All this without the need to use expensive and resource heavy software packages.

In the early 2000 this was a huge advantage, these days with much more powerful PC less so. However for the simple task of reducing the depth of a skin from 24/32 bit to 8 with a small quality loss this simple tool still hold his ground

... maybe it is just me, but blank skins remain blank, even after adding default markings in the QMB ...

indeed the 3d of the plane is missing the overlays to be able to display IL-2 generated markings
