I am having trouble launching some campaigns.

Mainly Moscow campaign and Smolensk 1944.

Moscow says no master file found, Even though the master file  is in the masters folder and everything should be working as intended. I am at a loss why it isnt...

As for Smolensk 1944 will not create the campaign. When I minimise my game I am met with a message on the DCG program: "I_LG20" plane missing from class.dcg. - This can't be right as I have added a crap ton of planes and fixed the loadouts with the help of DCG integration tool.
I'm not sure what the issue is. I have attached the folder that DCG creates when I try to start the campaign in game.

I am running latest version of BAT. Most campaigns work, its just a select few that wont work.

Stock DCG campaigns are for vanilla IL2 4.12 and do not necessarily work on modded IL2 such as BAT.

Files you attached are not helpful. There is a file named dcgerror.dat located in dcg main folder. That would be helpful. Note that the file is overwritten every time you create a new DCG mission or open DCG program.

Honestly I would love to be able to somehow make these campaigns work with BAT as I love DCG and is the sole reason why i play Il2 1946 to be honest. Thank you in advance.

Took a quick look. DCG seems to generate Smolensk campaign as it should, probably gets stuck somewhere after the campaign creation. Needs closer inspection.

But the other two:

That is probably caused by missing campaign name entry in Allcampaigns.dat or missing campaigns[three character individual mark].dat file.

Would you know how to go about it though? I am determined to get it to work. The thing is that there are no custom grand campaigns for Bagration or Typhoon. I would like a grand campaign spanning from 1941 - 1945 from army group north to south. Thats what I love about stock campaign.

It can be done, but requires countless hours of testing, troubleshooting, editing and rebuilding. Someone with a lot of time in his/her hands and very good nerves could do that. That someone is not me.

I may offer some assistance for that someone, though.

So I've been able to get some progress on the Leningrad one. I  changed the name in allcampaigns to Leningrad44Winter. Because for some reason in IL2 there are a couple campaigns spanning from 1941. Like, Leningrad Summer 1942 Leningrad Winter 1943 etc.

I compared to stock IL2 and this is not present there. At least there is some progress. When I check what DCG program says it shows me with a message saying that the plane isn't in the class file even though it is.

Update: I got Leningrad 1941 working. everything spawns and nothing blows up. DCG saves progress as well. I am now trying to get the other leningrads working.

Okay so I got Leningrad 1941, 1942. 1943 and Moscow working  except leningrad 1944. It basically gives me the same error as smolensk 1944... At some point I was able to load in the briefing using Normandy Niemen pilot. No flights were assigned at all though. Would you be able to decipher what the issue may be from the Log? any indication to fix this issue? Much appreciated!

Update: Lowengrin assisted me. He uploaded a new DCG file that supporst up to 20K allpayloads entries.

Also the issue with maps not loading is related to class.dcg Its basically unayble to allocate upgrades and downgrades. Fixing all paylods with appropriate roles is also important. I had a lot of 5s and 0s instead of appropriate variables Like G - Ground attack. R - Rocket

I have been able to get all stock maps working except Smolensk 1944 so far. But we are working on it.

Hope this helps anyone with similar issue.

DCG and BAT is possible. with little tweaking.

Lowengrin will also upload a DCG exe that tells you exactly what the issue is with class.dcg

Nice     Lowengrin has not been very active with DCG in a couple of years.

That is an excellent addition.  I'll download it as soon as I get back to my gaming computer - may take a few days, as I'm engaged elsewhere. (which is also the reason I haven't replied to you earlier - sorry)

No problem at all

The issue has now been fixed. All campaigns load in and are functional thus far.
