thanks for looking into it, F22.

actually, a raised seat position is already there! (I described it but you seem not to notice)!
but the problem is, the position that is available gives nothing to improve visibility really.

Sorry I'm not quite sure what you mean by there is a raised seat position already that I didn't notice? There is no hook for it in the cockpit so that doesn't really work...^

Anyway you get more visibility than the F4U... I've put it more forward and higher than the F4U. So... you can see your whole nose and over it and if that doesn't improve visibility I don't know what does.. Putting a camera on the propeller hub? lol

Here's a picture if it helps:

The deck can clearly be seen.... You won't get any better view from a different aircraft. In my opinion you always land blind on a carrier, you learn to judge it. You see the carrier earlier and then you figure out the rest of the approach without seeing it.

this looks quite good! i would want to try that.

welll... uhm there is a "raised seat" there for sure.
fly with it. go cockpit view, press "open canopy" and then "raise seat" keys. The position will change to lean to the very very left cockpit side.
only works when you are not is "aiming view" mode of course.

in a zero I am well able to see the deck all the time. i have to admit have almost no seat time in Corsairs.

You must have some other 109 pack then. I'm not exactly a fan of 109s so I don't download any 109 pack things. So with what I had which was the original 109E7 cockpit there is no raised seat position or "taxi view" which is what the very very left cockpit side thing is... Again download link is on the first page if you check... You may have to rename your bf109T folder afterwords so that it loads before any other 109 pack or mod...

uuuuugh!!!

I have a cockpit pack placed in MODS before it!
I needed that to get the early model 109s to work!

so I will reshuffle and see if there is a conflict developing.

rename the Bf-109T folder to 0_0_Bf109T. Then it'll work fine.

yeah, i know...

okay, i ried it now!
it is most definitely better!!

it is possible to see when you cross the deck. i was able to make 5 consecutive save landings, still tending to nose over at first but it gets better.
now I feel like getting there!

i placed it before "Der Wüstenfuchs  109 Cockpit Pack v4", which is nescessary, otherwise you get the same effect I got. I tried all the early 109s, everything works, i experienced no conflict.

Good. All that basically means is now you don't have a leaning taxi view in the Bf-109Es and earlier 109s. Apart from that there should be no change.

I never used it anyway - actually didn't realize it was there until today, LOL
and you can taxi with the new one pretty good also.
