Version 2.2 is now up!

Some meshes have been fixed and also the AI will not jettison gears anymore.

still have to be REALLY carefull not to overspeed this thing in a dive (gear)...

even thoo the label in the cockpit says the limit is 600km/h...

mmm the only reason I can think of is the idea that the gears are permanently down, which is needed for the ejection system. However from generaly flying the plane doesn't appear to shake as it would normally with gears down... So I'm not quite sure why your gears are falling off in a dive... I'll have a look at it, perhaps I'll increase the max speed before blow up in the FM. Anyway I haven't encountered that problem yet but I'll test later when I have time.

happened to me , empty, coral sea qmb, put the nose down, and full power...
first some medium shaking, and then - hop - the gear snapped away.
Just a minor thing IMO, i can live with it.

If the AI can divebomb properly with heavy loadouts from high alt, i dont see a problem.
Lets test that tomorrow, its getting 01.30 here...

Cheers, man, you did something great !

Hi man!
Thanks for this mod! I give you just my opinion:
I tested this last 2.2 version and yes, gears "fly away" when you're near 400Km/h diving. I think it's not a problem, considering that during dive bombing you have to slow the plane (airbrakes and minimum throttle), and for reaching that speed you have to put 100% throttle (so if you crash gears you really searched for it! ;D)

But I think it's a major problem the fact that, in this "always gears down" configuration, the flight code "feels" the gear, and flying at more than 300Km/h you have a costant shake as it would normally with gears down.

Tested (again ;D) also stock Ju-87 (just for comparison), and found that it does not have these problems(not shaking, not losing gears at high speed).
By now, I'm still using 2.0 version of this mod (without jettisonable gears and the problems listed above), with plane model updated to 2.2 (a simple copy-and-paste operation).
So, while the solution is found, my counsel is to repost the 2.0 version of this mod as an alternative to 2.2 (just for people that don't have this old file and want to avoid these "jettison gear" related problems).

I wonder if it could be done in the opposite way. Gear up yet you can still land properly because of location of the gears. However the gears are "up" so it won't shake and break off. When you put gear down the gears eject... Let me have a look at it and we'll see.

There is one problem with this plane only. If they land at a land base, they all go in at once. Kind of funny to see them taxi and just narrowly miss each other. I tried to get a picture of my mod folder but I have no idea how to take a picture.

Why do you need a picture of your mod folder? Anyway just press the Prnt Scr button (Print Screen) and it will take a picture and copy it onto your clipboard. Then open up MS Paint under accessories and go to edit and click paste. Then just save it as a jpg... and upload etc...
