Try adding the Liberator GR.V (heavies), this to have solved the problem (at least for myself)

This plane is a disaster to take off with :( haha

i had to have default loadout with 60% fuel to have even a managable takeoff.

Is this just me?

I know this is an unsupported, old franken, and adding mods to BAT is at your own risk. I was hoping someone knew why the bombsight, flares/markers, torps/depth charge loadouts weren't included in the BAT version of the Neptune. Adding these files back in or using the 4.12 download of the plane seems to work fine in BAT. I don't know enough about log files to see what I'm looking for if there's no apparent problems, but I can share if needed.

I'm only asking because I don't want to cause technical problems asking someone to add those files back into BAT for missions I'm making, and someone may know why they weren't included in the BAT version. I'm kind of hoping it was some sort of oversight and perhaps those features can be put back in to the BAT Neptune and keep things clean.

Would it be inappropriate if I packed those files from the mod into my campaign download, so someone could just add the folder into #JTW, versus trying to follow detailed instructions about which files to add from the original mod? It seems the original creators are hard to reach.

Thanks!

P.S., I know most modders have their hands full, but if anyone wanted to mess with loadouts or make the AI use rockets if possible... I'll skin something in trade?

This is for me a real good bird

and in my DBW 1.71 it is full armed,

but the Mk34 don't work as homing

torpedoes. I have installed all expected

arms files (included those for homing

torpedoes) ... no joy! Various version

of maritme B-24 instead work well with

homing torpedoes. May I ask why?

With kind regards, asso58

Yeah, not sure about that, the torpedo loads in BAT if I add the loadout file and I didn't have to add any weapon folder. Sorry I don't know about DBW.

I guess I'll just keep making the missions and test, I was just hoping there was no big reason not to use those weapons and the bombsight, if they weren't included in BAT to begin with. But I think they're critical to the plane's mission and been having fun so far.

There's other small and minor glitches, I'm assuming because it's an old franken. Fuel gauges, B-25 ILS, and PDI gauge don't work but I don't know if they ever did or were supposed to. I don't mind, I'm just hoping adding the loadouts to the BAT version keeps working out.
