mati now you really confused me.
yes you are right, this bug DOES NOT ONLY hoppen with the f86j, so storebror never mind me bugging you.
but still i noticed that i was wrong about the plutonium effects, i don't have those at all, but uranium!
and even with that one disabled (jsgme), it won't work!

So, we've got huge problem over there...

I take a J and directly hit the target only 2 hangers and 2 static aircraft where destroyed( they wherent evon the closest aircraft or hangers). spider went to the other enemy base with a j and destroyed everything on the base with a nuke so on the mini map it turned  white. I saw the bomb hit the direct center of the  airfield on boath times, what did i do rong?
I really don't know.
The damage should be caused by the bomb's explosive "power" and "radius". Both are static values for the MK-12 (14kt and 5km), so I really don't have any idea why the result should be that much different.
It's likely that the game itself adds some random factor to the values, but the difference shouldn't be that big for sure.

I have overmodded my old rig so I cant drop any bomb without that message and CTD , I am still waiting for my new one. Could it be that your PC cant handle to much effects?

I think is the major problem,but not always because your rig is old, i am not a IL2 expert and how it works , but i think that the physical cache of the game and his limits have over passed with all that mods and Graphics, i think is the games problem that some times cant hold all that power,for example i have I7 processor and 2xgtx295 8 gigs of RAm SLI and its watercooled,so A very good Rig,Il2 its the only game that can stack in that pc,in the task manager the Processor used the time that i play il2 to 9-12% percent and in a massive explosion happens to freeze and die so i think that this has nothing to do with my pc but with il2,Thats my opinion :/

This cold war aircraft is a blast in a fight... knocking out a few of the enemy warbirds right in the being of the fight gives your group a hec of an upper hand in the continuing air battle. Really great work has gone into producing this jet mod. Thank's to all who made this IL-2 ride possible. Wicked!   8)

Thanks for your post, woofiedog, I'm happy that you enjoy this mod :)

Regarding the IL-2 freeze on nuke explosion, one thing which might be worth a try is adjusting several conf.ini parameters, e.g.:

TexFlags.UseClampedSprites=1
This should (theoretically) limit the maximum number of sprites being used at the same time.
TexCompress=2
TexFlags.TexCompressARBExt=1
This compresses the object's textures with only slightly quality loss. Both entries must be set like above.

The reason why these settings my help is that during the nuke explosion the number of particles (i.e. polygons, sprites, textures) raises dramatically and might exceed the limits of your graphics card. By limiting the number or sprites (first entry above) and reducing the memory consumption of textures, it might be possible to stay withing the limits of the graphics card.

i didn't try until yesterday, but now that happens to me, too, even at a 250lbs bomb ???

Sounds definitely like some effects issue, unrelated to any specific A/C mod.
