I must be very dim. Tried this but still get 60% CTD with DBW 1.71. Assume I'm putting the FM fix in the wrong place, so could someone please let me know where it ought to go?  VMT in advance.

It's easy!
In the folder of this planes you will find a file named: MARTLET

Simply replace the one provided for 410_FM !

Thanks SAS~CirX. I used the new Auto Diff FM. They're flying in DBW1.71. Miracle of miracles, I landed them both too. They'll be appearing in the totally imaginary Canaries2 campaingn. It'll be out in about three weeks. I'd been thinking. Well, I might d/l the real Martlets and see if they work; instead of using Wildcats. My thanks to all concerned.

cheers

Thanks for that classfile tip  :) I had tried these a while ago with the 60% crash, now working fine in DBW 1.71 with the replacement 4.10FM file

I put the files from the Widcat F4F3 and F4F4 into the respective Martlets from, Mod Wheels V.5 and now have the new improved wheels  ;D

The only problem (and its a tiny one) is the 3D on the bomb loadout, it seems to use a bomb unique to this aircraft, and not any of the updated ones.
With the updated 58G droptanks and the soon to be released Wlidcat cowling upgrade-which I hope can be incorporated into these- it is only the bombs that will stop this package being right up to date with the latest developements. Perhaps they could be made to use the  bombs from the Swordfish which are a much newer 3D model

Thanks for these great additions to the FAA

Cheers Dakpilot

Must I have DiffFM Mod, when I have DBW 1.71? Because, I replace the new FM by SAS~Epervier and don't work. :(

I managed to work it on DBW 1.71, get the auto diff  FM and extract the classfile into the  martlet folder, just into it! I tried this result with other aircraft which weren't working on DBW normally, and with this way they work! just try it ! ;D

Agreed,if you remove the original DiffFM line stated above,it will also fly in HSFX 6.0.17,as well.
