Awesome, super, gorgeous, outstanding.  Excelent job guys, thank you very much.

As with most things with wings I can get them airborne.

Getting them down though takes more practice.  :-[

I also have a problem opening the door.

Wishing you all the very best, Pete. 8)

Thanks F-22-Raptor, I'd actually given this a go and was about to post, you got there before me.  I also can't get the seat raised view to work, the sponsons deploy ok though.

Wishing you all the very best, Pete. ;D

well after flyin a tad more....i actually found a few weird things....

1st why does it vibrate like crazy when i go anything over walking speed?

2nd, invisible bug but noticed here as well i guess

3rd, it seems to put u into unexiteable blackouts if handled a certain way (some speed and then trying to gain altiutude fast....)

but finally as a great start, just i can't wait for either a 50cal, gattling gun, or at least some rocket to rocketspam airfields

also why do enemies kill u so fast, with a puny lmg.......i thought helis had at least sdome armor.......guess not this 1

Loool, the only thing in a S-55 that is considered armor, would be the radial engine underneath/infront of the pilots, most likely everything else is probly a tad thicker than yer average cokecan, not much metal to stop a .30 slug going mach 2 ish... The early helis had enough problems flying decent without "extra armor added."  My dad knew some UH-1A's that lacked self sealing fuel tanks in certain places, to save weight, then after 2 crashed n' burned his whole outfit was issued UH-1C's which had uprated engines/ pilot armor/ selfsealing tanks...  He has pictures of these H-23's that look flimsier than a Bell 47, and had no armor that he trained in..

I was thinking the same thing until:
1. I realized I was flying a copter and not a jet.
2. Air Speed Indicator uses Knots x10 factor
3. If you back up and read the prior postings you might get your questions answered!!

Ya gotta remember this is beta, still ironing the bugs, plus I have actually had the displeasure of having to ride in the back of helicopters (Blackhawks, Chinooks, and a Huey or 2 with the 101st Airborne Division) and happen to know you DON"T get the impression your going very fast at all until they start to Nap the Earth crap on ya, even then your not traveling at a high rate of speed. I believe the modder has done real well in getting close to the flight characteristics of helicopters, especially this ole relic, so next time you think your hitting "walking speed", look at your ASI and you will be suprised!!

Hmm this model doesn't look that high poly, if it loads your system that's a bit of a worry for future projects.

Flakiten how many polys is this heli?
