I cant get the bombbay doors to open and i also cant the bombs working

Can't the bombs working? Just press the bomb's button ("Weapon 3" command in the controls settings). =D

I have just tested this for the first time, and I think the effect is chilling, almost scary. You really get the sense that this target is getting NUKED.









Good job all involved! I will test Santobr's alternative bomb blast as well.

you're going to make a silverplate campaign aren't you?
I made a little test mission if you are interested in it
it is the nagasaki mission on august 9th
but it was only a proof of concept (for myself that it could be done)
to realistically simulate the bombing of nagasaki

Well, yes and no. I am doing a "what-if" campaign for the J7W1 "Shinden" - that was never used operationally. It is set in January 1946, and supposes that the whole Manhattan project was delayed. So you get a chance to intercept "Enola Gay"...

however final mission of campaign there gonna be something along the lines of 50 silverplate aircraft and you have to choose wisely which aircraft to shoot down?

Well, if 50 Silverplates drop one A-bomb each, the FPS will be, like, 1.

I meant only 1 plane is carrying a bomb and you have to choose wisely which plane to shoot down cause if you choose wrong a city will disappear
