Great plane, I always love to see pre-WWII planes being added to the game.

However, please let me report a set of things I've noticed:

1.) The plane seems to be bullet-proof to small caliber guns. All I could score was pilot/gunner kills, no damage to the plane even when I'm unloading a perfectly aimed full load of 12 perfectly focused Hurri IIb guns. I allowed myself to take a look at the classfile, and I couldn't find any damage code except for player/gunner hits and overall damage levels. No chance to e.g. set the engine on fire or rip off some controls.
2.) The FM currently refers to the DB 601 A, while the He-45 was equipped with a BMW VI 0. This is a mismatch of 1045hp (DB 601 A) vs. 600hp (BMW VI).
For comparison, the He-51C FM refers to a Fiat A.74 variant (in real life it used the same BMW VI engine), which is wrong by the engine type (radial vs. inline) but at least matches better in terms of power (740hp vs. 600hp).

Best regards - Mike

Thanks Mike. I'll try to address the issues. The FM problem is paradoxically not a complex one. The Damage model issue is more complex. I have "adopted" the damage model  of the original stock R-10 as the java files are based upon the java files of the R-10 but by comparison with the He51 this DM is indeed a "light one" - The HE51's DM is based upon the DM of the stock Cr42 which is much more complex and much more successful (as I also used the the java files of the cr42 for writing the java of the He51).
It's a strange thing that stock aircraft can have such high differences in their DM or even their mesh detail level from one plane to another.

Yes I know, it's just a matter of either choosing a more suitable engine which is available already, or create a new .emd file for the BMW VI engine.

by comparison with the He51 this DM is indeed a "light one"
That's right, I didn't see the same issues with the He 51. As for the He 51, it's possible to set the engine on fire and/or rip off control surfaces, so the He 51 DM seems to be alright.

It's a strange thing that stock aircraft can have such high differences in their DM
Yes I know, this can sometimes be pretty challenging.
You did a great job on these 2 beauties already, please don't treat my report with any urgency, I rather think these issue are minor ones.
To get this sorted, changes to the classfiles are required and this should be done with care and patience.

Best regards - Mike

We have engine classfiles for the Jumo 210, don't we? Since this will have around 650hp, it would be a good match for the 600hp BMW.

It might make it harder to exceed the airframe critical speed limit too ;D

Can I suggest also a Luftwaffe training scheme skin?

At the start of the war all but 21 of the surviving plane was switched to training units!

After someone was send to harrassing staffel on Eastern front....so a standard 70/71/65 can be also a good skin!!!

Great skins!!!

The Pavo insignia had a number of slight variations from one plane to another:

Pavo insignia from propaganda movie reel (Grupo 6-G-15)

Pavo insignia from photo

Grupo 6-G-15 (Pavos) official insignia (Aviation museum, Madrid)

Pavo with Devil's head on engine and playing card on tail (most probably Legion Condor)
The camo here is something between lozenges and splinter camo

Pavo with lozenge camo

There does not appear to be any underlying "tracing border" to the lozenges, "separating" them- The lozenges seem to be a juxtaposition of colored blocks as in classic ww1 lozenges
