Nice one Tom, third mission complete.  Safely down. 8)

Not sure the patient would want to fly with me again though, got a bit hairey trying to avoid the Mig. ;)

It is great to actually play something on the map rather than just testing things, thanks very much.

I really must do some more work on this map. ::)

Wishing you all the very best, Pete. ;D

Good campaign but the lat two missions do not start due to when after the eight mission you get done and hit apply it scrolls and must shut down il2. to restart il2

What? Can you describe the problem in more detail? Are you also sure to have installed all the needed mods?

Yes I have all the mods double checked before I dl the campaign. It happens when I finish the eight mission then hit apply then the screen goes scrolling and you have to reboot to restart the game. I do not know but could it be a problem with the j model of the sabre the missiles do not work or something else causing this.

Right then, are you using UP 2.01? I have no idea what could it be. Or perhaps something not contained in your sim?

Yes I am using 2.01 gone thru all the mods I have and match up got everything. And the other jet campaigns I have all have worked with no problem. The only item not working is the homing sams and aim9 when I hit the missile button get the message not working or disengage. Looked for a mode for the sidewinders and the aim missiles just in case I need it for this to work but can not find one.

Hello Killer Ghost, I'm sorry to say your problem is down to me.  I re-textured the map soon after the campaign was made and your take off point for the helli is right in the middle of the tree effect I applied where there was previously just textures.  If you go into the FMB you can reset your take of point to a bear patch of the map, there is one quite near by, look where the Red Blue border lines are.

Pleas except my appologies for this, I should have re-played each mission. :-[

Wishing you all the very best, Pete. :)

Here are some shots of the clear area.  This shows the best location.

It is quite close to the existing spot.

It's on the top of an incline, you need to get airborne quick or the heli will start to slide down. ???

Airborne.

Wishing you all the very best Pete. ;)
