Great MOD!!!

On the Radar modes..  If you want to use correct USAF terminology  Its 'MAP' for your radial mode and and 'B-Sweep'  for your 'Frontal' mode..

Thanks Beercamel!

It's good to know the official terminologoy, but even for me those names are not very "representative". I think that we are going to mantain the Radial and Frontal adjectives which are very clear but perhaps (and it's good to know it), not so correct.

Tyrl,
it sounds as a strange suggestion, but: if you simply don't select any of the radar modes, doesn't make the deal? I mean the radar modes basically don't exist until the moment you select them. If you don't like them don't click the corresponding option and that's all.

This is nothing strange. Our fleet operates on the server from Oleg. Few modes. Graphics, cockpits. No radar and the like. Therefore no need for radar. My soul longs for order. Therefore, half hate mod.
Excuse my google English

hi Benitomuso and thks a lot for your supermod!
I started some years the first time with IL-2 and I gave it soon away due to the lacking of such a tool!!!
I use your map as a nav chart so I wonder if there could be the chance one day to have the scale of the map: do you think it could be done?
Best regards, Gianluca

Ciao Gianluca,
tell me, by scale you mean something as in a real printed map when it says 1:250.000 or kind of that?

As you could figure it would never be absolutely precise with computers. If you have a 17'' monitor and I a 19'' wide, our "scales" would be different and the program would never know, because each centimeter in our screens would  imply a different number of point in each case.

A label stating how many meters are each division could be added in the minimap, but I think that it's the most we can do. I can try to implement that.

Ciao Pablo!

I was thinking exactly to something like that!

With a little practice, one could give a look to such figures and figure out approx the distance to waypoint or target, supposing to use the map without zooming every second of course....

If that can be done it would be great, at least for me!

I found a small typo, or well maybe it's not. It says Fiendly but thought you might have meant 'Friendly,' but it works for me as-is ;)

Enjoying this-

thank you!

Triad,
you are right! Good to know it. I'm going to correct it. I was waiting for Zuti to see what changes he made to the MDS version of the Minimap. I gave him the Minimap 2.1 to be adapted to the MDS. As soon as he finishes it I will correct what you pointed out plus adding the miles/km by division label requested by Gianluca.
