Hi mate!

Installation happen without trouble and ship travelling quite good!

Plane T/O and landings quite smooth!

Really a masterpiece!

Did you think to give as gift and angled deck also to the Essex class CV in a far future?

I'm asking because such refittings can be really useful for post '46 scenarios!

All the best!

I thought about it. But that's just a thought.

The tugmaster and the crane are separated objets. You can use it to build a static object, only have to add the collision box.

S!

I have no idea about what you just said but the point is that someone can do it, Because really  il2 need all static objects and especially i , because that
"cuts" my energy when i want to make a new good movie , we really dont have good static pilot and crew models and almost no Airfield vehicles to make a realistic video. I dont want to "judge" anyone because these are small details but i think that some one must start built some, I hope that i can make some , i tried in the past but i really meshed up , :D

OMG! Angled deck! NimitZ FTW!!! Now wee only need Cougar and we can go TOP GUUUUUUN!!!!!! YEEEEHAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!  :P
OK, now some questions and notifications:
1. I noticed that AI planes can't use the catapult and all planes spawn on the stock positions from Illustrious (with first to planes with folded wings). Is it possible to have them spawning in blocks marked on deck and to have AI using catapult in future?
2. I noticed that arresting cables are still 90* from ships vector. Is it hardcoded/impossible to have them angled too?
3. This carriers length is almost the same as Illustrious' one and about 20 m shorter then Essex' one. Is it proper?
4. Are you going to add deck crew in future?

Sounds like you're having some problems with your install. My AI planes take off fine with the catapult.

mati140.

1. AI planes uses the carrier catapult on single and net missions with Zuti´s MDS MOD or with Fireball´s Carrier Takeoff MOD. If you don´t have any of this mods your IA planes may takeoff as normal Il2 planes.

2. My aircraft carrier (ARA Independencia) as the arrestor cables aligned with the hull and not with the "runway". SEE PICTURE. So I made them that way. You can move the arrestors cables to align them with the "runwaw" it´s an easy work.

3. I don´t know. Try with google

4. No. I do all my mods trying to keep the poly count as minimun.

1. I use CTM and AI uses catapults on all other AC's. I'll check it further. BTW, are u going to make them spawn in blocks?
2. OK, I see now, don't kill me :o, I'm not 50's carriers specialist. I just wanted to know if it's possible. BTW, is it possible to have AI landing angled from AC's vector as well?
3. Well, u made it, I thought u know what you made  :P   :D  Colossus sounds like something big, so I thought it will be bigger... Sth like Nimitz...
4. So, maybe s1 else can do it, like those made for Boxer and Valley forge...  ;D

CRUCIAL EDIT:
1. OK I solved this, those catapults are simply incredible.
2. NVM I just saw they land propaby, great job Flak!

I don´t understand what you´re asking for.

Well, u made it, I thought u know what you made
Yes, I made. I know that a colossus class carrier has a overall length of about 210/212 meters. But I don´t know wich it the length of an essex class or an illustrious carrier.
