I don´t understand what you´re asking for.
I mean those markers on the right side of deck, 3 near catapult and 3 on landing deck. Each one has 3 points positioned like for main gear of jet (one for the front gear and 2 for main gear) and is angled about 50* from ships direction.

Despite the name, the Colossus class of carriers were designed as light fleet carriers for protecting convoys. They were smaller and slower than fleet carriers, but since they were built later they were in service longer. They had less armor protection but were cheaper to build and keep at sea, which was important for Britain in the post-war era. Most of them were eventually sold to other countries, and a few were converted into helicopter assault ships after the Suez Crisis.

Wait a minute and read your words. You are requesting an amendment of the MOD to suit your personal taste. No one else has requested this change. In your situation would be convenient to use the word "please". I´m not your employe.

Not all aircraft taking off using a catapult. Some took off using almost the entire deck. In my MOD you will see a long dot line that start near the last arrestor cable. This was the guide for "normal" take off. So for me the planes spawn in the right place.

If you don´t like it you can do a version in accordance with your taste.

Regards, Flak.

Sorry for being rude, I didn't mean to. I'll better stop writing posts here and using language in wich I'm not sure what my words will sound like. Sorry again, post deleted.

The TO_ and TX are the text entries which must be copied and pasted into your existing chief.ini, ships.ini and stationary.ini files.

It is critical to paste the entries in the correct place in each file.
Its all explained in Readme.rtf which Flakiten provided.

Triad, if you're stil having that memory crash problem, it might well be due to another mod. maybe this thread will help you: https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,6060.0.html

Thanks for the response Malone- based on your notes I think it might be one of my new fav mods (throttle and toe brake mod) that is the culprit. I will weigh this carefully as that mod is one I have really liked using.

[EDIT]Confirmed conflict. It happens just as I ignite the engines with the throttle mod so I posted something in that thread.

Thanks again[/EDIT]

Great mod!!!

My question is, have you set same parameters of arrestor cables as other carriers because with the Mosquito TR.33 I've cathed the first cable and I stopped 3 yards before the end of the front of the deck (maybe it was due to a high speed : 240kph) but I prefer to ask about it.

That might be a problem with the coding of arresting cables in Il2.  The overly "elastic" cables were brought to Oleg's attention, but if I recall correctly, he said they had to be done that way to prevent aircraft from breaking apart during landing.
