The Fabulous SAS Avenger Pack v2 (Jan 2010) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Download the SAS Avengers v2

This mod replaces all previous attempts at making TBM and TBFs flyable.
It makes ALL models available in the game flyable with Josse's cockpit
It also includes a new version of Josse's TBM1

This pack puts Josse's reworked TBM cockpit, with opening canopy, into all TBM, TBF and Avenger Planes in the game
It also includes reworked Point of view and Raised seat position, and edited cockpit mesh and reticles by CirX
It fixes most known bugs with previous versions.
It features a new set of classfiles for all planes, re-referenced for minimum incompatibility.
Also includes gunner positions for all models, and 4th crew level bombing sight for the TBM1 and TBF1.
And of course, better FM's for the whole family.

New Cockpit additions and Fixes in V2 by Slikk

v2 :
1: Added new projector lens.
2: Added new duel layer recticul and mask files for TIR 6dof users.
3: Fixed the landing gear indicator sliders. (You can now see if your gear is in the up or down position).
4: Fixed the stall indicator light. (It was suspended in mid air and had to be repositioned)
5: Added new duel layer aiming recticul for the top gunner.
6: Added new tail gunner cockpit.

This mod requires the latest SAS Buttons file for best operation.

The SAS has been improving the original AI only FM's with the help of HSFX, Ultra and C6, especially uf_Josse, for a while now, and will continue to do so.

Remove all previous fumbles at flyable Avengers before installing this.(dont delete the air ini entries though!)

This pack requires no entries into air.ini or other files, except,

if you want to add Josse's TBM to the pack, enter the following into the air ini (if you already have it, the same entries will work for it):

Hi all,

I know this isn't designed for 4.10.1 but just thought I'd let you know that this causes radio beacon problems. I know some might not use them anyway but this plane causes beacons to be unusable/non-selectable in all aircraft.  :-\  I have the latest SAS modact and buttons and yes, everything is setup to use the radio navigation system. This isn't the only mod that causes this but thought you should know.

Hope it can be fixed as this really is a brilliant addition!   :)

My TBF won't drop torpedous, why? I could use other weapons like HVAR rockets, etc, but no torpedous.

How i could fix that?

Thanks to everyone for their hard work.

My questions are probably very basic - so in advance I appreciate any help.

1. Am I correct when I say if I don't want to use the TBM model all I need to do is copy the "SAS_Avengers-V2" folder into my Mods folder and install the latest SAS buttons version to use the TBF?
2. I have not played with torpedo planes before - do I just verify I have a mapped control for "open bomb doors" and then one for "drop bombs / torpedo" ?
3. Will I able to fly the plane in QMB and land on carriers?

I got a hold of an AI made flyable mod for 4.11. The Avengers are there, but stock FMs. Roll like an Fw190 lol!!!   A google search is what found it for me, advise you do the same if you wish to.

Hi folks, just a short question, I noticed that TBF Avenger is not listed in Ultrapack as flyable (anymore?) What happened to them?
Too bad I cant try anyway, I found this site after I upgraded to 4.11m :(
