Hello NightAce,

Welcome to modded IL2 - there is no going back !

But , I notice you are having a number of questions in various threads that relate to general modding / enabling
practices. If I may make a couple of suggestions that will ease you existence here...

                      1) Use the Search function for and read what you can find out about your problems BEFORE you make multiple
inquiries in mod threads. It is not always possible to find answers using the Search function , but it is the best
                          place to start.
                      2) Don't be shy about using other websites as resources. There are many out there which may have your answers.
All they require is some reading.
Mission4Today is a treasure trove , and a great place to start.
                      3) Make your general "I can't get it to work what's wrong?" queries in the New Members Safety Area. You will get
politely directed to areas which may answer your specific questions that your diligent searching did not discover ,
with no chance fear of irritating admins , modders , or thread readers who don't want to wade through a bunch of
procedural questions which can be answered elsewhere.
You will find out that most loading errors boil down to a couple of procedural errors which you can easily identify
and correct , and will make your future modding easier.
                      4) You will find that your choices of how you structure your modded IL2 will narrow your query searches. Each mod
pack or modding preference has experienced practitioners around here (and elsewhere). Find one who has the
same basic mod structure as you do and follow the threads pertinent to this structure.
                      5) In the event that you do have a problem that doesn't seem to have been addressed , include as much specific info
in your inquiry for help as you have . There are guidelines about what to info include in the New Member Safety
                          Area.
Follow them or no-one can help you , or more importantly , will want to for long.
                      6) You can in a pinch PM a modder about a problem specific to his/her work and they are usually willing to help , and
sometimes very grateful if you find a new bug. Just be sure your issue is not one of fundamental modding
knowledge that can be found somewhere else around here. Modders are a precious commodity , and if you irk any
of them , you will have modders and everyone else who loves what they do ticked off at you for pissing off a
                          modder.

Good Luck.

Hmm, after testing and comparing with Stock TBF/TBM I think this one is TOO HEAVY!!! can't properly take off from carrier! well it does if she's empty but with Mk13 she is too heavy and taking off looks like her engine is 50% powered

any suggestions? I compared her to TBF-1 TBF-1C and TBM-3
very confused about her FM (not gonna delete her though because she's nice anyway)
Cheers!

You're very tight on information!
So I'll consider you to have a 409 game!
Even if a Rebel knows how to give as much information as possible!

Aircraft carrier Saratoga + TBM-1 with 1x 2000lbs Bomb and 85% petrol: correct take-off (descends to 4m above ground).
But I never use this kind of bomb to take off from an AC!

... well, Casablanca CVs were very small, and had a short deck, too short for your heavily loaded TBM ...  8)

Here USS Tethis Bay, CVE 90:

Other test in my 4.09/UP2.01 !
USS Casablanca + TBM-1 with 1x2000lbs bomb & 85% petrol = correct take-off   :D
The takeoff is better than on USS Saratoga thanks to the catapult!  :D   8)

I don't know.
You say this plane is too heavy to take off from a CVE.
I'm telling you, it's taking off very well... in the 409!
Isn't your game in 409? What a pity!  :D
That's normal...
