Sweet looking so far, we can wait with baited breath... it'd be nice to fly along the fault canyon between the two halves of the Atlantic/central-ridge (techtonic) plates :)

Correct me if i'm wrong but i think i found this map on Helens hardrive and she had retextured about two thirds of it and it looked amazing.....did this project get abandoned at one time ?

For those interested, a fast Winter retexture for this nice map:

Install:
 copy "Iceland" textures folder into maps/_Tex
 and iceland_load.ini into Maps/iceland (overwrite only AFTER BACKUP of the original)

If you want also a completely green Iceland Summer (no tile effects) copy iceland_load2.ini into Maps/iceland and add to all.ini this line:
iceland2 iceland/iceland2_load.ini

I got around to downloading this map this afternoon.  It is really nice.  Not too many airfields though.  Thank you Etoflyer and ftarquisa.  I appreciate your efforts on this project.

hi bluemax, yes, she was interested, and I sent it to her, but then couldn´t continue it. I never got anything about it. As you can see I do not have much time,,,,

I have this map installed and everything works very nicely (C.U.P)
have a question, whether the author of this beautiful map is still working on its completion?
Edit:
Map works, there is only a small problem with the iceland (PNG) file, which if necessary should be save in TGA format.
