Why does the topic picture say these mods can be used for 4.12.2m?

Icon is correct.

P-40D is OK in 4.12.2 with Modact.
OK in 4.12.2 with Modact and Engine Mod.
OK in 4.12.2-TFM.
OK in HSFX7.

Just tested.

The P-40D COMPLETELY screwed up my game.

Give more info please:
wich 4.12 games version (see my list above).
logfile? etc.

The topic picture wouldn't have been listed there for 4.12 games if it hadn't already been tested on it prior to this. No just to let you know that all these planes listed here on my What If's are all based off the STOCK PLANES. All that has really changed is some light cosmetics and arms changing. Cockpits point to stock cockpits and planes point to stock planes all as a base for these planes.

Now something you did messed up your game because you took out something else with this and didn't remove something else? like the air.ini entry perhaps?

So for having to be gone for a good while and coming back to this first post on my list, mind you this is the first post I read... thanks a lot... is not really good for me. But I am willing to allow you another chance at this.

In the future, you might want to consider adding is the problems you are having along with your primary problem. CDT%, error messages, including the log listings, and such. Or you can go on pissing and moaning about it and never getting the chance to use the mod.

i highly recommend it, some ultra-cool features that really should've come with the original game, such as taxi to takeoff - pure epicness!

Just to let you all know that I'm still alive and trying Here's a little something I'm working on. Real life has me kinda pinned at the moment but I'll get what I can done. Hopefully soon.
