Nice!  A good "what if" for supposing the P-38K had issues with the paddle blade props. (Solution?  More of same = 4 props instead of wider ones.)  Yippie!  (Where have I heard that term before?)  :D

Just wondering if the graphical representation of more blades is somehow modelled in the A/C's FM? If so, I'd though its an easier mod/upgrade for A/C, assuming theres adequate power to overide the extra drag.

Not yet, we are going to work on that at some point, but have many projects on the plate at the moment.

Friction

Hi mate!

Any news about the new FM on them?

I was just wondering if the 4 blade could give an increased performance at high altitude?

For example giving a different reduction device between engine and propeller we can have a low rev propeller which can mantain the same couple at low altitude but can give better performance at highest altitude!

This can be an useful option for at least the Dakota which can have received such modification to bettele couple the hrse condition over the Hump!!

All the best!

We are talking about using a diff FM on these models because they really wouldnt be needed in the buttons file. But we'll see what we can do on those, we have other things cooking at the moment ;)

As for the C-47...I guess it wouldnt hurt to give it just a little more power. It's not going to be a drastic change if we decide to do that though.

Hi mate!

Any news about the 3 blade 'downgrade' for the Typhoon?

Can I suggest the upgrade of the 109D to a 3 blade one like the today's bammer image too?

The plane in the image is an advanced fighter training machine....

All the best!

It's trying to get all the hurricane parts mapped to the Tempest skin. That way, it's at least skinable using one skin. Other than that, it's done. It has 12-.303s, new solid rear fairing, and a couple of other minor fixes.

I have that one in my game (109D-3blade) ;) I just took the props from the E model and dropped them right into the late 109 D

Ok, I added another one. A P-51D (3 Blade). This is what it could have looked like had the P-51Ds stayed with the 3 blade propeller.

Sounds like a recipie for a nice looking Stang', even if it's flying is affected. *Wierd thought crosses mind - engauge gears meshing sound*
I wounder if reversable prop pitch might be possible to be enabled at somepoint, the Ju-252's at least used them?

I was tinkering around with propellers again making new ones to have for future needs if they are needed. I liked the way this looked on the Mustang so I decided to make up a quick new slot for it

Guess you could say that I got bored again :D

Didn't the Hurricane X have 4 bladed props? I seem to recall seeing that in a photograph.
