That looks amazing!  8)
I wonder if that BIG city on the first images posted is friendly with the old computers.
Big cities tend to slow down the game a little bit.
None the less, its really looking SUPERB!
Congrats!

Thanks :) I haven't added any more buildings than in the stock map, the city you see is really the original one with a different texture. I haven't done really a good job with cities, but I prefer them any way to the stock ones or the ones in other repaints.

Looking forward to these  ;D i liked your  previous Singapore repaint, i even used some of your textures along with Ramones in a personal experiment on the stock Burma map and it turned out rather well (considering the limitations of the original map)

Thankyou  :)

Thanks, I think new Singapore is better. Singapore and Burma are super limited but I have come up with 2 or 3 no-trees jungle textures which don't have any tiling effect and are very good for wide plains of terrain. The same with the new trees I've created based on the Italy ones. Not to mention the impressive Mixx textures I use in many maps, or some from Viking, and 1 or 2 volcanic ones by Redko. I usually tweak them to adapt better to each map in terms of color and contrast. Some maps are better than others but more or less I'm happy with the result :)

Also Whitecat I like the densities your reworked tropics have- looking forward to them :)

I really like the retextured Iwo Jima map. I think it shows the pre-invasion vegetation quite well. Most people are not aware that the island wasn't just dark sand before the intense bombardment began. There were bushes and even some trees.

Thanks to you for your beautiful NG mountains, more realistic than the stock map :) I have missions for both maps and with the retexture they look much more consistent now, you can play them in succesion.
