Mission loads but i can't see anything only the sky, game freezes, cant escape, no plane etd.

Atoka, please learn to make relevant posts with specific error details first time around.
the previous post you make that is just a vague comment, that then requires someone to post again, just to ask what you are referring to, is a complete waste of forum resources.

finally got around to installing this incredible mod and it works great in 4.11.1 with ModAct 4! However I'm having some issues with carrier take-offs, the catapult can't get the bird up to take-off speed and I (and the ai) end up in the drink every time. I installed the carrier catapult fix file and even changed the catapult boost in the conf. file after I read some stuff in a different post concerning the same problem and still no joy. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks a million for the awesome mod

Tested in a clean 4121&SASMA5.2

1) Some textures from SAS AI & engines hotkey are required (auto fix as the new version 'll be released publically)
2) Land take-off really hard due quick overheating....AI can't take off even if with default loadout....
3) Performance seem good as I reach 980 kmh at 150 mt of height after a long and shallow dive with engine at 100% because above that level overheating is quick and can't allow sustained top speed....

I have just downloaded and installed this plane in 4.11_1 with Modact 4.
FYI I needed to add some files to the 3do/Planes folder in order to get it to work
as follows
(all) damage tga's
(all) skin tga's
(all) Gloss and Glass mat's
Pilot1_DO.msh
Changed Hook2_DO.msh to Hook1_DO.msh
these were copied from another 3do\plane directory

maybe this will help somone

Me too. I found the files in the archive with one of the "old" versions, F9F2_Panther_SAS_v18_4101m.7z.

I am very surprised that the standalone version of F9F2 was labelized 4.09 to 4.12 ...
Some files are missing in the directory 3do/planes/F9F2.
I managed to make this aircraft flyable in SAS modact 5.22 but only after retrieving the contents of the directory 3do/planes/F9F2 from HSFX6.0 version...

I copy Plane folder from F9F2_Panther_SAS_v18_4101m.7z add to 4.12. The catapult can't help for take off.

Who should I ask about borrowing the wing tip tank 3D? Need to borrow them for a project, and wanted to get proper permission on the off chance I actually finish it.  ;D

I have the same bug as Atoka, when trying itt in 4.12.2m with Modact 5.30 (not HSFX7).

Some files must be missing. Unfortunately, I do not have an older version of it... if a kind soul has it...
